Edward Jorgensen and The Big Chill

Today Edward Jorgensen, another English teacher at Kangnam University, and his wife Hyowon celebrate the 4-year anniversary of their bar The Big Chill in Suwon. Last month, I interviewed Edward and talked a little about The Big Chill and what it’s like to run it. The next week I stopped by during their “Very Scary 10,000 won ALL you can drink OB Golden Lager Halloween Killer Keg Party” to take pictures. The place looked great and brought back memories of when I worked at a couple bars.

It must be challenging to handle both his teaching job and his business. I admire his ability to do both well.
